Introducing Our New Children’s Manners Series ✨
At Akunna Publishing, we believe that the best lessons for children are the ones wrapped in joy, imagination, and understanding. That’s why we’re excited to share some wonderful news — Akunna Publishing will soon be releasing a brand-new children’s manners series!
This upcoming collection is designed to gently introduce young readers to everyday social skills and polite habits in ways that feel natural, relatable, and fun. Rather than lecturing or scolding, each story focuses on kindness, self-awareness, and respectful communication — all through engaging characters and playful storytelling.
Where It All Began
The idea for this manners series actually began with Big Toot, Little Toot. What started as a single, lighthearted story about a very normal (and often giggle-inducing) moment quickly sparked something more. Writing Big Toot, Little Toot inspired us to explore other common situations children experience — and the simple, important manners that go along with them.
That spark grew into the vision for a full series: stories that help children navigate everyday moments with confidence, empathy, and a little bit of humor.
What’s Coming First?
We’re thrilled to announce that the first two titles in the series will be released in the coming weeks:
🌬️ Big Toot, Little Toot
A playful and humorous story that helps children understand natural body functions while learning an important social skill — how and when to say “excuse me.” It’s a giggle-worthy read with a meaningful message about manners, self-acceptance, and empathy.

This gentle, heartwarming story introduces young readers to the power of simple phrases like “please,” and “thank you.” Through charming characters and everyday moments, children learn how kind words can make a big difference.
